Mercurius Global Thinking
The Mercurius Global Thinking is a dual-track cognitive training system that integrates the essence of Eastern and Western thought—Know Yourself · Know the World. Starting from the imagery-driven thinking of Chinese tradition and using Western abstract reasoning as a tool, we guide students to perceive themselves through sensory awareness and to analyze cutting-edge global ideas from a broad, public, and international perspective. Through activities such as appreciating classical quotes from both cultures, comparing Eastern and Western paintings, analyzing films, studying Chinese calligraphy, and experiencing instruments like the dizi (bamboo flute) or martial arts, students flexibly apply both critical and creative thinking. They learn to communicate and collaborate effectively within real-world projects.
Future Literacy
Future Literacy is designed to equip students from zero to mastery in essential future-ready skills. Through Rapid Learning (using games like StarCraft, table tennis, and vocabulary training), Harvard Case Method (analyzing real-world success stories), Introductory Research Skills (foundations of academic inquiry), Applied AI in Practice (building AI workflows, crafting effective prompts), and Design Thinking & Innovation (solving problems creatively), students will develop the mindset and tools to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
Business Leadership
The Mercurius Business Leadership Program aims to guide students from zero to one in developing business interest and strategic thinking. Through a combination of foundational concepts and practical projects, the program cultivates critical thinking, market insight, and entrepreneurial creativity. Students will build essential financial literacy, learn to analyze and interpret market trends, and master the skills of drafting and evaluating business plans (BP). They will also develop a deep understanding of the broader business environment, enabling them to connect macroeconomic forces with actionable strategies. By the end of the program, students will be equipped to transform ideas into viable, well-structured, and competitive ventures.
Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)
This course supports students in developing self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, and responsible decision-making. Through reflection, dialogue, and real-life scenarios, students strengthen their ability to understand themselves, relate to others, and navigate challenges with resilience and integrity. The course emphasizes well-being, collaboration, and ethical judgment as essential capacities for learning and life in a rapidly changing world.
Artistic Literacy
Artistic Literacy cultivates students’ ability to recognize, interpret, and create beauty. Through exposure to diverse art forms, guided analysis of visual and auditory works, and hands-on creative practice, students will sharpen their aesthetic judgment and gain the confidence to express themselves through original artistic creations.
Passion Project
Passion Project is a personalized, mentor-guided program designed to help each student discover and develop their unique potential. Based on five diagnostic assessments—personality, interests, team role, motivation, and learning style—combined with the student’s family resources and school environment, mentors design a tailor-made individual project. Students are guided step-by-step through the complete process: from literature review and research design, to writing and refining a paper, and finally to submitting their work for competitions or publication. By the end of the course, each student will have transformed an idea into a fully executed, high-impact project that reflects their strengths and ambitions.
